I read some great reviews of Boi on the Midtown Lunch website so I headed on over. And since I usually dine on the 'ol standard pb&j for lunch, this was quite a treat. So here it is... meet my lunch:
(Say 'hi' mister sammie!)
The ingredients were all fresh and tasty. The bread was a bit much and I like more of a french baguette that's all crispy but that might be nitpicky. I asked for it spicy but wouldnt say it was all that spicy. I think the guy from midtown lunch mentioned the same things. I really wanted to get a meat banh mi while I was there but since I'm having meat for dinner I didn't want to overdo it.
The sammie was a tad messy and the avocado kept falling all over the place but always think that's a good sign. It means they stuffed it full and I'm getting my moneys worth. Speaking of which, it was not a cheap sammie.... $8 and some change. But, hey, I'm worth it.
